I was looking at the wiring for putting the radio into the Accord. And I discovered it doesn’t have a power antenna! It’s integrated into the windshield. So how will I let people know I’m 90s ballin’ without a power antenna?

I don’t even know. What I mean is, I don’t even know how you live with your self and your power antenna-less life?

I know! My first though was underglow, but that’s no where near as classy.

That’s going to score you negative points at Radwood.

The whole 4.5 years I owned my Accord the power antenna never really worked.

Neither did the one in the Integra. But I replaced the antenna for $20 and it worked perfectly after that. It’s a bit of a PITA though since there’s lots of plastic that can break and ruin your day.

Get a CB whip. Where I’m from, that was a super power in the early 90s. That and a pager. The world was at your finger tips!

That’s the point. It didn’t bother me enough to pry off old trim pieces that will never fit the same afterwards.

I had a whip antenna rust away once. Stuffed a clothes hanger in the newly created slot. Worked amazing until it rusted away. Rinse and repeat.

The one in my S40 didn’t extend beyond the first segment. I pulled one from a junk yard to replace it, but hadn’t gotten it installed before my car flooded. The new car doesn’t have a visible antenna.

Looks a lot like the Millenium Falcon.
I bet it raises the antenna in less than 12 parsecs.
